New Residential Construction
S. Gertruda Ave – Redondo Beach, CA
This new construction in South Redondo Beach, CA is for a new family with entertaining and outdoor living on their minds. In this model we show the property at night, with the lightscaping so that they could get an idea of the look and feel of the lighting plan.
With multiple decks, and elevations – it was very important to the family that the property was well lit at light so that guests as well as their growing family could get around the expanse of their property in the evening, while retaining an intimate feel.
We facilitated this through multiple pathway as well as built in stair lights to ensure visibility and enhance the features of the landscaped surroundings in an evening setting.
Backyard Retreat Remodel
Dapplegrey Palos Verdes
This backyard retreat was created for a family in the Dapplegrey area of Palos Verdes, CA.
The desire was to extend their living from their ranch style home to take advantage of a large sloped back yard.
We sectioned the yard into tiers – the upper with an outdoor bbq just off the ranch house kitchen.
Mid Tier included a stepped deck and fire pit conversation seating area just above the lower tier that housed a new pool / spa and barnstyle poolhouse which could second as a guest cottage or office space.
New Residential Construction
8th Street Manhattan Beach, CA
This home in the Mira Costa section of Manhattan Beach was new construction by Fritz Construction. The property owners wanted to update the look and feel of an existing but dated pool in the back yard and incorporate it seemlessly into a newly envisioned enterainment retreat for their family.
For the entrance to the home, we created a sitting and conversation spot that overlooked the garden, with bench seating around a raised tree planter.
The outdoor patio off the indoor living room has a firewall that houses a fire hearth on both the bottom as well as Master Bedroom upper deck level. Plantings on the master patio soften the railings and create privacy when lounging upstairs.
